How to Treat Cold Sores

Caused by the herpes simplex virus, cold sores are small and painful blisters that occur on the skin of the lips, mouth, gums or lip area. Cold sores are caused by the Type 1 herpes virus. Herpes simplex Type 2 is a sexually transmitted version of the virus, with blisters occurring on the genitals. Infection with the Type 1 virus is quite common, with infection usually occurring before early adulthood.

What is Carpal Tunnel

In our wrists there is a sheath of connective tissue which covers and protects a nerve and a few tendons. It is connected to the muscles, wrist and hand bones. This connecting tissue is refered to as the carpal tunnel. It is the space between the sheath above and the bones below making up the wrist and hand.

A sinus headache is experienced as gnawing pain over or under both the eyes, the cheeks and the forehead. In most cases it accompanies blocked sinuses which have been caused by a bad cold, flu or allergic rhinitis. The sufferer may become feverish during a bad attack.
