Wicca divination is viewed as an art and a science by a Wicca. When a Wicca practices divination they are in contact with a greater power, or divinity i.e. the God or Goddess. Wiccas practice divination to obtain guidance, information or answers to questions about their everyday lives.

The beginner Wicca can pick and choose from a wide variety of schools for Wicca. This is in contrast to years ago when the traditional way to learn Wicca was to join a coven and work with Wiccas to learn by their example. Today most people lead busy lives and may not have the time to devote to ongoing coven practices.

A Wicca Book of Shadows is a journal that records the magical workings of a Wicca or Witch. In ancient times each Wicca coven would have their own Book of Shadows in which they noted their spells, charms, incantations and activities. A Wicca Book of Shadows was usually kept secret from others.

A variety of Wicca supplies are used in The Craft. Such tools are used in spells or for making charms and in performing rituals. Today many online and other stores sell a variety of supplies than can be used for this purpose. However, Wicca supplies do not have to be expensive and may rely on the use of simples candles and incense, for example.

Many people don’t realize that there are many different Wicca traditions. You might have been under the impression that Wicca was just one all-encompassing tradition involving spells, rituals, magic and divination. However, there are, in fact, several different kinds of Wicca practiced today.
