Of course there are some great moving companies out there and most of them offer wonderful customer service, full insurance and great time-keeping. Not all companies are scammers. However, in the event that you do come across one who smells fishy report them to the Better Business Bureau and make sure all your neighbors, family and friends know who they are. A good moving company will be available to answer questions, happily provide a list of previous customers and spend as much time making you feel reassured as you need. Don't get taken for a ride and lose your money and possessions because you didn't spend the time beforehand checking them out. It is definitely worth the effort to make sure your household contents gets to the other side. Take time finding a good moving company and then sit back and relax as they do all the hard work for you!
