The members of the group endeavor to request songs on radio stations or hang up posters marketing the artist and the event. They also bombard Internet message boards and do just about anything legal to promote an artist and his or her latest event.

* Get a Job in the Media
This is another option where the odds of meeting your favorite hunk or sex-siren are huge. Getting a media job is a good way to meet a celebrity. You might want to work as a print journalist for an entertainment newspaper or magazine, or work in radio or television. As a media employee you have access to the inside track.
With a press pass you can go back stage or into press conferences and 'meet-and-greets'. Radio interns get to meet stars for interviews or when they stop by the radio station to promote their music or movies. Even if you are a high school student you can get a media internship.
How to Behave When You Meet a Celebrity
* Don't Act Star Struck.
Ok, we know you ARE star struck but keep the raving for after you meet a celebrity. Be cool and polite if you meet up with him or her. Even though you will be very nervous, don't act like it. This may make your celebrity nervous too.
* Make Sure Before you Ask for the Celebrities Autograph
Even though you may be dying to get proof that you actually DID meet a celebrity, play it safe when asking for an autograph. Although many celebrities are happy to sign your autograph book they may be having a private dinner. Ask only if it seems appropriate.
* Follow Your Instincts and be True to Yourself
The Hollywood scene is famous for its easy access to drugs and alcohol and celebrities are people too after all. If you find yourself in a sticky situation don't be tempted to behave in a way which is out of character for you, just because you want to meet a celebrity. No matter what, never lose your self respect.
* Always Behave Appropriately
Don't become a stalker! By this we mean don't do anything illegal or anything that might harm you, your celebrity or anyone else. If you are lucky enough to 'bump into' your sought after star never go overboard or get out of hand.
